Roger Waters

Ok, so I went to see Roger Waters "The Wall" tour saturday in orlando. Man, I was blown away and it just wasn't from the pocket rockets straight from the seed banks of Amsterdam either. This was unlike any concert I've ever been to and it ranks in my Top 3 I have ever seen. Incredible, visually stimulating, musicianship, the special effects were off the chain. It started off with pre-show music like John Lennon's "Imagine", Sam Cooke's "A change is gonna come" and some short film that I did not know, but was pretty cool when your buzzed on kryptonite. The Stage was a HUGE ass wall where everything was projected on. The show started off with "In the Flesh" which was accompanied by rows of exploding fireworks, machine guns firing and an ending where a fucking plane flying above you until it crash's against the wall. Man, I was like fucking whoa, I can't wait to see the rest of this! The Wall was gigantic. Stretching from one end to the other and must of been 25 feet high. Maybe 30, who knows, it was fucking high. Shown on it were images of oceans, giant eyes, worms, photo's of different images etc.
The musicians who played were great. The guy who sang Gilmour's leads were spot on, hell, you thought it was Dave. They had a kid's choir come onstage to the tune of "Another brick in the wall" and afterwards the kids were tearing down some wall.. The coolest part of the show was when Roger Waters walked onstage and it was totally dark. Then one white spotlight shown on him standing with a acoustic guitar and started "Mother" with video of him singing it with Pink Floyd back in the day, man that was fucking awesome. I had some great seats around some cool people. My son didn't go with me, I miss him and "Wished he were here" with me to have witnessed this.
My Kid in Germany, striking a pose. Looks like he has Fred G. Sanfords Arthritis. He doesn't.
