Then maybe he'll think twice next time, huh?! That is fucking dispicable! No grandmother (volunteering her time no less) should EVER be treated that way. These mouthy kids have no fear of repercussions anymore nowadays. Bring back the strap I say.

They were horrible kids, but death threats I don't agree with. This man needs to take his son and make him volunteer at a homeless shelter, rake old peoples leaves, write her an apology letter, take away all privileges, and spank his sorry butt! I am sure expulsion should be on the table from school, and no more bus privileges...mom and dad can drive his sorry self to school every day. Or better yet, if he is within walkable distance make him walk back and forth to school.

Good. Maybe she can retire, she should be already she is 70+ for crying out loud. It is so sad that seniors have to work to make ends meet. That will show those punks that this old lady who kept her temper in check and was nice the whole time gets rewarded for putting up with their useless selves. While they get the evil eye from the rest of the country. Even if they don't learn to respect seniors, society is letting them know that it is inexcusable to treat this lady this way. She is way nicer than I would have been.

It's obvious from hearing the man's interview his son was not raised like this. The father said this goes far deeper than taking away TV privileges, being grounded, etc. He was also going to seek professional help for his son to try to figure out how this could happen. His son had written a letter of apology already. But you could really see his disappointment in his son, no excuses for him.

Yeah I saw that on the news too. Sad all the way around. I don't agree with the kids getting death threats. But bullying should NOT be tolerated, you reap what ya sow. With the world watching, it's going to be a very hard lesson learned for those kids and so it should be. If they can so freely speak to that old woman that way can just imagine they have no problem totally tormenting young girls in their school, or other kids. The gang mentality bullying has become an epidemic. Luckily my daughter didn't go through that, she stayed pretty neutral and friendly with all the different factions in junior & high school. My daughter did tell me stories of other kids in junior high (I think the worst years when it comes to peer pressure) that just broke my heart though . Just makes me mad and yet sad at the same time, that some kids crave attention sooooo bad they resort to bullying to fight their insecurities. And some actually don't grow out of it either, still resorting to bully as an adult.
