Small Rant- Bachelorette is on and my TV has been Hijacked!

I sure wish she would watch something I could stomach. I just got home from a 12 hour day and am relegated to my laptop for entertainment tonight.

The average American home now has 2.93 TV sets per household, just saying.

Yeah, I remember the good ol days when people tried not to be couch potatoes. That must be a thing of the past too.

I just realized I have 6 TVs in my house and it's just my wife & me. That's pretty ridiculous actually.

I am sure she watches plenty of stuff with you that she is not so fond of. Personally don't get the Bachelorette or any of those other shallow people nausea dramas. I watch re- runs of NCIS. Or pop in a DVD of Stephen Kings 'KINGDOM HOSPITAL' and get my scare on.

Hang in there Stevo. That is what love is ... sacrifices. ;p

+1
6 TV's and now that the youngest has left the nest, it's just me and my wife. In my defense, 3 of the TV's are in bedrooms other than mine which leaves the big screen in the living room, a TV in my bedroom and one in my man cave. So if you don't count the 3 in the other bedrooms which never get turned on any more, I've only got 3. Whew! Thanks for talking me down from that near crisis.

Well if I'm not watching home videos or a purchased movie, the only tv I will watch is METV. I usually like to watch the shows that I remember watching with my parents in the 70's and that I was too young to understand back then but now can fully understand. The first season of the Mary Tyler Moore show, wow Mary was a total hot babe back then. I also like The Bob Newhart show. I get a real kick out of humor of the late 60s and 70's . I can also see how much the American society has deteriorated over the last 30 to 40 years. Example is an episode where Bob's neighbor Howard was describing how pathetic his life was by saying he would be staying home to watch Bowling with the Stars. I found that funny cause co-worksers I've had over the past, say four years now, they all come to work and rant about how great Dancing with the Stars was the night before. Once pathetic no life is now the norm in todays American society. Fucking pathetic and now do we have to guess why America is so fucked up today?

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.
