I voted for Friday The 13th part VII The New Blood. I liked how Tina was able to fight back with her telekinetic power. I love Lar Park Lincoln too, what a babe she was!
I also love parts II and VI.
Parts 9 and X sucked.
I loved Freddy VS Jason.

I rank them:
Original, Final Chapter, Pt III, Pt V, Pt II, lump the rest.

I watched to original last night in the spirit of the day. Also watched Phantasm II, which I enjoyed a hell of a lot more. I was gonna watch Halloween too, but my wife had had enough after two flicks.

Phantasm II was a very unexpected and worthy sequel when it came out. Phantasm III was a direct-to-video clusterfuck and the fourth movie was pretty cool. Don can't seem to get the funding (has he heard of Kickstarter?) to do another movie, and at one point the whole thing was going to be rebooted by another studio with a big budget, with or without Don directing (and with his blessing, IIRC). That never happened, of course.

I remember being home alone watching the original on HBO (back when HBO went off at midnight). I was talking to a friend on the phone and the scene at the end almost made me piss my pants. The second one was a bit of a disappointment though.

Those first two "Phantasm" movies were awesome and scared the living crap out of me when I was a kid.

Saint John always says the first time he laid eyes on Deano was in Vegas for the Revelatin DVD shoot concert and Deano came stomping down the hall towards him like The Tall Man in Phantasm.
