Anyone else loving this album so far? Got it a few days ago, but finally got a chance to listen to it twice this weekend. I'm really loving it. It loses a little steam on the last 2 tracks, but up til then, the album is absolutely fucking superb. The first 7 tracks are stellar and all sound unique vis-a-vis each other.
Asia has been prolific in the last few years, and all 3 albums have been incredible. They also put on a great live show at House of Blues Cleveland a couple years ago. Wish they'd come back.

I thought it was a very good cd too. The lead off track threw me from a loop. I was listening to the intro, thinking what a sucky way to start a cd, then boom their off and running.
And yes Asia has had 3 great cds back to back to back.

I liked the middle of the cd best as well as "Reno" (the jap bonus track). Bury me in willow is a good song , but other than this songs 1, 3, and 4 were weak as well as #8, and #10

Like you said: STELLAR. I also agree that all three of the "reunion" cd's have been fantastic, but XXX seems to be a notch above the other two. It's taken a few listens, but the tracks just grow on you. Great great stuff.

Yep. Also, John Wetton is up there with Dennis Deyoung and Fred Turner as some of the oldest singers I've seen live the past few years who sound basically the same as they did in their primes. Those guys are just in incredible vocal shape. And Wetton's great vocal form is perhaps the most impressive of them all, given that he had quadruple bypass a few years ago.
