Postby Frontiers65 » Wed Jul 25, 2012 7:11 am

El Paso, Texas, police have confirmed to television station KFOX that actor Sherman Hemsley, star of "The Jeffersons" has died in El Paso.

TMZ.com also reports: Hemsley, who was 74, became famous during his appearances on "All in the Family." The spin-off, "The Jeffersons" was a monster hit. He also starred in the TV show, "Amen." He was also a professional singer and even released the single in 1989, "Ain't that A Kick in the Head."

Man...I really thought he was funny as hell back in the day. Will miss him.

George Jefferson, one of the best TV characters of all time. Hemsley was perfect for the role.

Yes.

Other than Florence, Jenny and one of the Lionel's, I think they're all dead now?
