Totally glad to see this business booming. A company who's leader hasn't lost his moral compass under the pressures of a pc ravaged country.

I'm seeing a lot of love, desire, dedication, determination and conviction from the 97% who ain't gonna let the other 3% tell them how to live or what to believe. I see the hate from the 3%, not this group.

And yet they're the ones telling the 3% they cannot marry, and are likely to fire of employees (or simply not hire) if they are found to be gay. classic. God help any of you have gay people turn up in your family.

Chick-fil-a donates money to anti-gay hate groups. Yeah, Chick-fil-a, cool.

So boycotting a company that donates to homophobic hate groups is a hateful thing to do while patronizing the company is a loving thing to do?

Well that's just as annoying...the "Glee" movement isn't helping...but people need to be a little less insecure about their own sexuality in general, I think.

Since you guys are all about the hate and non tolerance, maybe we should start a list of new bigot-backed fast food chains or meals. I'll start:

Hatey McRacist - New sandwhich at McDonalds for the South
Del Jew (10 tacos for $1?? the food is so cheap)

KFC loves the gays btw

Boycotts rarely ever work and are for knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing, brain dead zombies. BTW...Since you're such an expert on speaking out about hate, have you spoke out about this...?

This was mine a couple of hours ago, in Bryan Tx. The crowd inside was a LOT larger, and out the other side of the building. There are also 2 others in this town. Do you people boycotting Chick-Fil-A KNOW that this had nothing to do with hate...It had EVERYFUCKINGTHING to do with Freedom Of Speech...

But it isn't a freedom of speech issue. Unless this is a protest of the Boston thing and not a protest of the protest. Fucking whatever. People do whatever you want, as long as nobody shoots me for being a queer-mo I don't care.

I don't care if you're gay. What I DO care about is the fact that my beliefs ARE different from others, and THOSE aren't being tolerated but the very same people who are screaming for tolerance.

Nice little double edge sword, huh?

From what I understand, chikfila also gives money to at least 2 organizations who lobby or are against gay marriage. I suspect that is the bigger issue to those boycotting than just what the guy said.

I'll freely say it...I'm against gay marriage. Not the IDEA of them being together, but the religious institution of it. Look...do whatever the hell you want, and WHOMEVER you want...I don't care. If you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you. Simple as that.
Civil unions I agree with. But why the fuck do you have to be "MARRIED". Be Gayried....CALL IT SOMETHING ELSE, For Christ's sake.

It's about the 97% vs. the 3%. Instead of boycotting Chik-fil-a, the 97% heteros came out in droves to support the company, who's CEO made a statement that enraged the gay community, as I understand it.

The controversy began when the company’s (Chick Fil A, a fast food chicken restaurant) president voiced his support of traditional marriage and called gay-rights leaders “arrogant”.

The homosexual community decided to boycott Chick Fil A, but the heterosexual community decided to patronize the restaurant in support of his right to free speech.

I knew that this would happen.

Personally I am ok with gay marriage, but it is a selfish lobby forcing it down our throats when there are so many more important problems to tackle in the U.S.

Gay marriage has my vote. The CEO from Chick-Fil-A has my respect though for answering a question honestly without some PC dance-around statement.

Just BAN marriage all together that way straights and gays are on an equal playing field and mormons can't commit bigomy.

By the way, men get fucked over in divorces. In a "same sex marriage" how does the judge decide who he/she is going to screw?

Advocates for same sex marriage picked the wrong venue here to further their cause.

Another mistake will be made on Friday with the so-called kiss in thing at these restaurants. You can't be there unless you are buying something and if I were a patron I don't want to see couples of any nature making out in public. If my kid wants Chick-Fil-A and some asshole wants to further their orientation agenda in front of me in the drive thru my foot will be heavy on the accelerator.

There are better ways to further this cause.
