I've been running fantasy leagues for over 20 years, so I could get a yahoo league started if we have enough interest. We can simply do it for bragging rights. No cash involved. I would prefer an 8 team league, which guarantees everyone of having really good players.

I've been playing fantasy football since 1989.

There is a league on a little message forum I run. There may wind up being a spot open. Not sure yet. I think we have 9 out of 12 filled but not sure how many invites we are waiting on responses from.

Okay...I just setup the league. FYI...it is limited to 8 teams only, so it's first come, first serve. The league ID is 563184 and the password is journey. It's setup through Yahoo, so simply go over to Yahoo to sign up. Once we have 8 teams, I will setup the draft for autodraft. Sorry, but I find online drafts to be painfully slow and it becomes a nightmare when the inevitable happens and a couple of teams don't show up to draft. Not to mention, most guys pick up and drop players and make so many trades, that they never wind up with the same players on their team. You are able to go in and rank your guys, so yahoo will draft the guys you tell them to draft, if that guy is on the board when your team comes up. Good luck to everyone, and you should only sign up if you plan on paying attention. Guys who don't pay attention to their lineups annoy me!

I'm in Johnny. But you gotta change it to a live draft. Just put a 30 or 45 second time limit between picks. That would speed it up.

At least a minute. I usually need piss breaks during these things.

There is enough feedback from league members who want a live draft, that we'll go ahead and make it a live draft for probably next Friday night or the Friday after that (depending on when the league fills up). I'll let everyone know what the plan is. I've always done an auto-draft and almost always end up with the same players I would have drafted anyway (I actually pre-rank my players list prior to the draft, so that's always been easier. Just understand that if you don't show at the live draft, you'll be forced to put a team together with players that are left over. We still have four slots left. Travis needs to get his ass signed up.

CBS Sportsline allows auto drafting for those who don't show for a live draft. Someone who isn't online just gets the next best ranked player.

With only 8 teams, 200 plus points a week will be the norm.

We're having trouble filling the final two spots, so expanding it to an additional two teams doesn't make sense. Incidentally, I've been in 8 team leagues for more than 20 years, and I'm not sure that anyone has scored 200 points more than 3 times. Ultimately, all that is on the line here are bragging rights.
