Watch Miami Vice on Netflix the other night made me wish we were still in the 1980's. For one, so I could make fun of the people who were wearing the red Michael Jackson "zipper" jackets, and so I could dress like Don Johnson again without getting laughed at.

Yeah, I still have some of my "Don Johnson" style clothing in boxes. Waiting for when the look makes a comeback and I can be styling and profiling without buying it all over again.

I mean seriously, those were some comfortable clothes, and how could you not pick up any chicks wearing your best Don Johnson?

Too funny, talk about freaky timing. :o  I was just listening to a song from the Miami Vice soundtrack this morning. I have quite a few songs from Andy Taylor on my IPOD and this one is from Miami Vice..........

Was never much of a Duran Duran fan, but sure love the rock stuff Andy put out after leaving DD.

They're on Netflix, so I'm holding out on picking them up on DVD until they are taken off of 'flix. It's hard to believe that Miami Vice was only on for five seasons. I was thinking they were on much longer than that.

Jan Hammer, the guy that did the Schon & Hammer CDs with Neal did the theme song for Miami Vice. and a lot of the background music as well.

The instrumentals on the Schon & Hammer albums have the same kind of "flava." I like them a lot (and the songs).

Jan basically composed/contributed an EP's worth of original music (roughly 20 minutes, which was edited/looped/integrated in post) for Miami Vice from
'84-'88.

Yes, I do own this. It rocks. http://www.amazon.com/Miami-Vice-Collection-Jan-Hammer/dp/B00005YORR/ref=sr_1_1_title_1_aud?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1346080770&sr=1-1&keywords=jan+hammer+miami+vice.
