Hey, all...

I know, according to the PURISTS:
"Pre-Season doesn't count!"

blah blah blah.....

Well, I'm up here in CT...and NEVER SEE THEM. :x
Watching them vs. the Jets right now....hmmm...something's different...

 Their Logo.

It really doesn't look that much different but now it's going to "chew your face off"? Give me a break!

Yeah saw this back several months ago. It's not a very noticeable change, but I guess it doesn't look quite a "cartoonish".

17 years is long enough to have roots...

No it's not! On another note, I'm not sure that I get the point of this "logo change". That's like making the color red a bit darker on the Red Sox logo. Hardly a "change". Then again, I lived in NC for 13 months. Those fuckers are still fighting the Civil War down there, so they're all a bit confused

Yes it is. I have lived in NC since 1989, and while I can't exactly disagree with the "Civil War" comment, I can disagree with the "roots" comment. In 17 years, the Panthers have had 4 coaches, winning seasons, losing seasons, playoff seasons, a Superbowl season.

If that's not enough to have roots, please tell me what the requirements are.

The requirements are that your team needs to be around longer than I've been out of high school! Hell, the Patriots are the "new" team in Boston, and they've been around for more than 50 years!

EXACTLY, Enigma....same with the Cowboys. The Bucs and the 'Hawks are also new boys on the block ('76). 17 years ain't nothin'. PLUS...it helps if you had a memorable roster.

Thank you PC!

Which is the old, which is the new? F'n hilarious.

Hope they didn't pay their marketing company too much for that one. Kind of like the company that came up with a new motto for Kansas. Kansas...As Big as You Think. Huh?

Personally...I think it'd be better with a full panther stalking its prey.
