BUT - if they play a song straight and sing it straight without all of that crap and showing off, I love to hear Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald.

) Nothing beats skiing 12" of new powder, down a black diamond run with moguls the size of VW Beetles (literally....) and jamming to Jean Luc and Pat Metheny's Last Train Home! Man, those were the days!
Anyone here ever skied Winter Park/Mary Jane? Drunken Frenchman or Outhouse anyone?![]()
It truly is. Pristine wilderness and high above the smog and city lights. Winter Park is at 9,100 ft. elevation and the summit is 12,200 ft. making the nighttime sky breathtaking! Living at that elevation takes some acclimating too. The first time I smoked pot there I was sooooooooooooo frickin' high - I thought I was never going to come down!StevePerryHair wrote:JRNYMAN wrote:Can't believe I forgot 2 of my favs - both of which Smitty is associated with:

No. And no great stories. But I was in Winter Park in the summer, and it was beautiful!
