Hip Hop Horrible

Wouldn't have even given this sewer a listen, but I'm a parent.

Sewer is the best description I can find. The language and subject matter are nothing more than audio pornography.

Don't let your kids listen to it.

The people who make this are 20% of Obama's vote. He will never diss them. Glad you got some insight into part of what is wrong in this world.

Why? It's an ilk. My daughter's boyfriend is a very likeable guy.....but he subscribes to that culture. He's a white guy. Get my point now? This had nothing to do with what you thought it had to do with. Hip Hop is just horrible role modeling. He voted for Obama. :D

I HATE hip hop music. But to be honest, I don't really care for any music or artist who uses obscene language with every other word. I just don't have the stomach for it.

Hip hop in the late 80's and early 90's wasn't too bad and really fun to dance to. But it's changed into something that isn't so creative or fun to dance to anymore.

The years Hip hop was creative and fun was between this:

And this:

However there is always that exception, as Keri Hilson came out with a really nice hip hop tune that I got into a few years back.

For the most part, I don't like Hip Hop either, but there is a few stand outs just like with any other genre. I love Nelly, and dig alot of his songs.

This one quickly became one of my favorites. Dare anybody to listen and say they hate it. :P

I've heard that song before, not bad at all really. I thought it was more R&B than hip hop though. What is the difference between hip hop and R&B if any?

How about this one:

2 Live Crew were amusing way back when.

That's about it for me with hip hop though.

+1 :D
Love Nelly.

I had these two songs stuck in my head for a long, looooong time:

Nelly sort of made rap/hip hop more melodic. Some people call him soft, but I like to think of him as the Journey of Hip Hop.

I remember in the late 80's they did "me so horny" live on a talk show and the audience was in total shock. That was funny and if I find it on youtube I'd post it.

Here is another from back in the day that was fun to dance to.

Michael Jackson is sampled in in this one.

This one was actually the very first one I liked way back in the day.

And who involved with hip hop during the late 80's and early 90's doesn't remember the fly girls from In Living Color. The Asian one was always my favorite, I think she's a Filipina.
