Kamelot video teaser

Kamelot's first single from their new album "Silverthorn" is "Sacrimony (Angel of Afterlife)"

I think Tommy Karevik has one of the best voices I've ever heard. This album is going to be a monster. Will be released in the US on October 30th.

I LOVE Kamelot and was sad when Roy left. I though he was irreplaceable but Tommy is a great choice and does a fantastic job. Just saw them a few weeks back and I was getting goosebumps all the time when hearing him sing the old material. How lucky can a band be to find not one but two utterly fantastic singers! Can't wait for a headline tour as they only got to play 45 minutes opening for Nightwish.

I was convinced that they were done when Khan left. I know I'm making a bold statement, but I think Tommy has a better voice. Talk about replacing an irreplaceable singer and coming back even stronger! I like Tommy's creative input in Seventh Wonder and can't what to see what he has in store for us on Silverthorn. I love how Thomas and Oliver let Tommy do a lot of the lyrics and vocal melodies instead of having a robot vocalist.

I haven't had a chance to see them with Tommy yet, so perhaps you can tell me; how does Tommy's stage presence compare to Khan's? Khan pretty much set the standard for any band with regard to stage presence. They're supposed to be doing a USA headlining tour in April/May so I'm hoping I can make it to one or a few of the dates.

He's totally taking command of the stage! It's spooky how in control of the audience he is already. Looks and sounds like he's been with them for years. Very suprised indeed. Some of his moves are very Khan like and yet he is no simple clone. I really like this choice and can't wait for Silverthorn as well!

My expectations for Silverthorn are very high. Has potential to be one of their best albums.
