More and more each year a lot of people in my area are decorating their houses and yards as elaborately for Halloween as they do for Christmas, and that's saying a lot, because tons of people in my area go all out decorating for Christmas.
There are a lot of houses in my area that make the national news for their Christmas displays. Some of these elaborate grave yard displays in peoples yards for Halloween are damn near as impressive.

I live for Halloween. I really do think it should be a National Holiday. Unfortunately, my girlfriend is petrified of everything. Literally. Everything.

Halloween was always my favorite also while growing up. To a group of us preteens, nothing spelled out love and happiness quite like kicking in lit pumpkins while humming the theme song to the movie "Halloween" if we didn't get good candy from them.
