While "Get a Grip", "Pump" has their moments, Aerosmith hasn't made a great record as a whole since "Draw the Line", "Night in the ruts" era. Saying "Were
bringing Jack Douglas back to produce", was ruse. It was an illusion to fans who had hope of a bluesy/rock 70's vibe to it. What do we get? "Can't stop loving
you", "What could have been love", "Another last good-bye", "Closer", "Beautiful", "Tell me", all ballads hoping for a top 40 hit, yet again. Remember when "Get
"
you wings", "Rocks", "Toys in the Attic", Draw the Line" came out? They weren't written with having a top 40 tune in mind. Band's that are still around from the
70's make mostly ALL their money from touring these days and thats a fact. Aerosmith has sold out to the masses yet again for another last shot at the top of
the pops. At least Kiss, and I didn't care for their latest release and didn't buy it, put out a straight, in your face ROCK cd. Aerosmith has gone so soft I wipe my
ass with them now.
