Here's my prediction. It's going to be a close race. Of course Obama own these liberal states like California and NY who have 55 & 29 electoral voters respectively. And Romney will win TX and FL who also has the most electoral college in the nation. And those swing states like OH, VA, WI and CO will be the one making the deciding factor. This is no different than the previous election but it's going to be a close race. And my prediction is, Obama will be re-elected by a closed margin.

You answer those things? So you're one of the 9% Pew said responded to polls, I wonderd who those people were.

I always vote Romney when it's surveys & polls.

I hope on Tuesday I don't do the same by habit !

I'm going to write in Donald Duck. I suspect that it's not going to make a bit a difference, regardless of which candidate "wins". It might be time to exhume Ronald Reagan

As usual, there's alot of ideological color, principle, and diversity on the third party side. When all is said and done, I will prolly just cave and vote for O.

Very close race that won't be decided on Tuesday night. This one will drag on like Bush/Gore.

I stay out of these threads for my own personal sanity (and out of these discussions in real life too), but all I'll say is this:

I don't believe for a minute that there really is a significant body of independent "swing voters" out there. In my personal life, I know a very select few people who claim to be libertarians, independents, or swing voters who purport to vote "at random" (read: evaluating people on the merits and not voting the party line). Based on talking to them, they are kidding themselves. And I certainly know plenty of people who are the farthest thing from a swing vote, at least with respect to the presidential vote. So in sum, I think this is a total myth perpetuated by the media and some intellectual dishonesty in some voters' personal minds/hearts. I think it makes people feel cool or intellectually superior to purport to be independent. But in most peoples' heart of hearts, they aren't any more independent than Obama or Romney themselves.

So, what it really comes down to is which pool of the dyed-in-the-wool supporters shows up big on election day.

American National Election Studies did a research doc on this.. they found no evidence that a swing vote decided elections..

There will be a landslide on Tueday. I feel it in my bonez! I'm drinking and BBQing either way, in celebration + I need to eat anyway, or I might just need a quilt to kill the pain, if the result is wrong.

Your missing a voting button or two here. There are a number of third party candidates, I am personally voting for the Libertarian candidate , Gary Johnson. Not perfect, but the closest to what I believe and he was a pretty successful governor in New Mexico. Certainly a better governor than Romney was.

If you dont like OBAMNEY don't just stay home, that doesn't send a message. Vote for one of the third parties.

My State will definitely go for Romney, which actually gives me an opportunity to vote my conscious (which I know you should always do anyway). That being said, I'll most likely vote for Johnson. But, like TNC says, when my finger is hovering over the buttons, a "cave" is possible... :)

Sorry, I forgot to put in the 3rd button for Rosanne Barr  , and seriously she is also one of the presidential nominee running under The Peace and Freedom Party. And one of her platform if she wins, that she's going to legalize marijuana. Now, this woman is really a big joke.

Sounds pretty spot on to me, as he always did. Somehow, I suspect that you won't agree with his take on religion listed below, as well

Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man…living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer and burn and scream until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you and he needs money. Please send money - George Carlin
