Chris Christie shit in his Wheaties with Republicans over the Sandy situation. He'd never get nominated.

I'm not sure about that. Some probably wouldn't vote for the guy because he's a fat guy. That said, I LOVE the dude. He's FAR more interesting than Romney could ever be. He almost seems too honest to be a politician.

Chris Christie was FINALLY a republican who could set party lines aside to get a freaking job done. That makes him a better candidate than any republican I've seen in a long time. They need someone who can get votes from both sides. Doesn't this election teach you ANYTHING? Seriously?

I agree! And that will be his downfall. He tells it like it is, and that's something people aren't used to and doesn't seem accepted in a presidential candidate. I think it's great!

He's definitely the most refreshing poltician I've come across in years. I tend to agree with your premise that he's way too honest for most. Most prefer to have smoke blown up their ass. One thing that politics has taught me is that most people are really fucking stupid  What's Christie's deal...is he a married dude? Any children? I find the guy incredibly interesting and him debating ANYONE would be MUST WATCH TV. I'd have to learn a lot more about him and his ideology, but I suspect that I would drive through a blizzard to vote for the guy.

I saw him interviewed in his home about a year ago. He's married with I want to say 4 kids? They are elementary school age on up.... one of the few reasons he didn't run this time. He said if he runs, he wants to be ready. I found him pretty interesting, and refreshing like you said! But I would also have to learn even more about him, if that time comes. I did like what I saw so far though, and more after how I saw him handle the storm in Jersey.

Calm down. I didn't say I didn't like the guy. I'm telling you that the Republicans think the general public seeing him with Obama doing photo-ops partially cost Romney the election.

I just remembered too! Chris Christie doesn't even live in the governor's mansion. He stayed in his private residence. He says to not detach himself from people, but I'm sure part of it is his young kids too.

I like Chris Christie and how he handled the hurricane. And he'd definitely be entertaining to watch in the debates.

Trump/Palin Vs Sharpton/Biden.

If nothing else, it would be a great time for SNL.

What cost Romney the election is that he wasn't remotely fucking likeable. Hell, the guy couldn't even win the state who elected him Governor. He couldn't win the state where he owns a gazillion dollar lakehouse. He couldn't win the state that he was born in and that his Dad was a very popular Governor of. He also couldn't win the state that his Vice Presidential candidate holds elective office in. Christie standing next to the President while his state is burning down and floating away has nothing to do with why Romney didn't win the election. Anyone paying attention knows that guys from Massachusetts (JFK notwithstanding) don't get elected President!

The Jeb Bush thing isn't that far-fetched. I think I'll shoot myself with another Bush in The White House. There have already been two of them, and they both sucked!

Bingo.

And here in NW Ohio, people were all upset about the false ads about Jeep moving to China.
Our county along with surrounding counties, are pure republican counties, but those ads resulated in many republicans voting for Obama.

He needs to start running now, or else he won't be alive in four years.
