Drawing development / need tech advice on photography

Postby artist4perry » Thu Nov 15, 2012 1:27 pm

I did not want to start a new post for this...please read last entry for camera tech questions thank you!

This first one is titled: SPider? WHAT SPIDER?!

Image

The second one is unfinished it is called so far: Harvest Hissyfit

I have been drawing some, but with problems with my back as of late I have slowed down some. Thanksgiving I get off a week and I plan to try to get a great deal more done.

I know some of you find my art as interesting as watching paint chip but for my friends I just wanted to share my latest work.

I am singing Saturday night as a memorial tribute for my music teacher she died last year due to cancer complications, we are having a Celebration of her years with our schools pop music group. If they video tape it I will upload it for you all to heckle. I am nervous about that...I have not been on a stage singing in 3 or 4 years. :D

As always, Ginger, your artwork is amazing.
I'm sure you'll do dandily at the tribute.
I sing everywhere but not well and usually not welcomed by anyone.
If you can hold it together and give it your best go, most certainly it will be marvelous.

Well if they video tape it you can all laugh with me. I am doing Carol King's You've got a friend

I am also singing with the group on Starship's We built this city

and with the ladies from the group on the Judds Love can build a bridge

Thanks for the input on the art! I happen to like my girly girl flying squirrel...LOL

Ginger your art work is so wonderful and whimsical. Your really should be illustrating children's books.

Thank you! My brain is full of stories.

Some day I plan on writing my own. 8) But maybe just maybe my art will take off anyway someday. I really don't promote it right now...not for sales at least. I want to build a body of work for now.

Excellent as always, Ginger. That is just incredible talent.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I sure am, thanks. :) My sweet wife threw me a surprise birthday party last weekend for my up coming 50th. She sure did a great job.

The concert went well! I didn't mess up once.. :D Dan said I did great, so did a lot of folks so phew! It is over! We had a great time. I don't know how Nora, Brywool, Jim and others do it. I take my hat off for the courage it takes. I am fine after I start singing. It is nerve racking for the first line or so.

I got to see a guy I had not seen since High School that was in my group. It was so cool to talk to him again and he told a story I forgot on stage that night and I laughed so hard! Those were great memories and experiences. I will never be a professional singer, but I do love to sing, and I do love to share the love of music with friends. Nights like this are wonderful! :D

The way we were then. I am the girl in front of the guy holding the guitar.

You have a great knack for drawing whimsical animals. Just gorgeous. Would love to see u try your hand at illustrating a version of Wind in the Willows.
