Bon Jovi’s Daughter OD’d, Arrested

Jon Bon Jovi’s 19-year-old daughter was hospitalized on Wednesday after being found unresponsive in her upstate New York dorm room after overdosing on heroin. Police said Stephanie Bongiovi, of Red Bank, N.J., is also facing drug charges after investigators found heroin, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia in her Hamilton College dorm room. Ian Grant, 21, also of Red Bank and Hamilton College, was also arrested. Bon Jovi is scheduled to perform at a concert to benefit Hamilton in New York on Dec. 5.

That's gotta be tough. My kids never got into drugs, thank god.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Heroin seems to be making a big comeback with kids in recent years, its very sad to see what it's doing to todays youth, but even scarier is the laced marijuana that is being distributed all over(especially in spring break locations) that's causing psychotic breaks in teenagers.

Alot of it also has to do with the lifestyle the kid was born into. I notice lots of kids of famous parents are a mess. I try to imagine if my parents were famous and not having to worry about where I will come up with money to fix my muffler or down payment on a house, not to mention all the people lingering around snapping shots and then having them in magazines in stores everywhere. The kids are born into a lifestyle that they necessarily would not have wanted if it were up to them. Sometimes the only way out is doing drugs with other kids of famous parents. I'd of probably been the same way had my parents been famous, because I don't like even friends taking my pictures, let alone morons who sell the shit to the magazines. I don't do facebook, neither does my wife, because who the fuck cares about what goes on there, I don't want no one knowing all about my personal life complete with pix. Fuck that shit.

thats what upsets me about all this "legalize marijuana" crap, making our kids believe it's safe. If legalized, who will be regulating it? Making sure its a safe pure product? Like with cigarettes and alcohol? No one. They will still get it from drug dealers. Everyone our age thinks of marijuana like the pot they used when they were young. Sadly, a lot of what's being distributed can't be trusted as that.

Same thing about sex education in public schools, they now teach about how the homosexuals have gay sex. Bull fucking shit! Ain't nothing natural and normal about a guy sticking his cock up into another guys ass! But the public schooling system wants to think otherwise.

And even with regulating it as you say like cigarettes & alcohol, it can't be worse. Look at all the shit that goes into cigarettes, to many to mention. Alcohol over 40% by volume. The 2 most dangerous drugs are legal right now, yet we penalize something that naturally grown. Incredible double standard unrationalized thinking.

um, I don't think they are lacing cigarettes and alcohol with Heroine or other highly addictive drugs. If DRUG DEALERS were distributing them... maybe. That's my point. Is the government going to regulate what's in that legal joint? No.

Heard about this all over the news, so sad. From what I understand her daddy
has never had a substance abuse problem and has never been in rehab. He did the drug
thing as a young man, but never to any great extent ...such a shame he has to go thru
this w/his child on a national level, I'm sad for them.

I'm w/Lynny on this, no surprize ...I know you like your fatties, joints, mary jane, blunts ...
whatever they're calling them today, but heroin, meth, crack, that stuff scares me TO
DEATH
. What happened to this privileged child ^^^ could happen to any one of us,
by accident or not. And that IS NOT saying that alcohol can't be just as bad. I believe if
you have an addictive nature and you are looking for a way out, something will get you.
But if you are sucked in as a result of trickery of some sort ...very sad. The Just say NO
campaign, that only worked on Lynny, will now become KNOW your drug Buddies

Point out anywhere in my post that I indicated teaching them about homosexual behavior would turn them gay. That's right, I didn't you idiot!

Sex education is about how humans have offspring. Two guys fucking one another up the ass isn't getting anyone prego, neither is two chicks fingerbanging one another.

if that wasn't your point, then what you wrote was even dumber. What did the things I said have to do with homosexuality? And if you think kids don't know what gay sex is, BEFORE sex ed, then you are slow. I am raising teens, and they know so much more from their peers and media than I ever did at their age. I had talks of my own with them before they had sex ed. I just don't get the point of you ranting about gay sex and your hate in this thread. I'm not the idiot here.

oh, sorry, I missed the love and kindness in your words....

Your WORDS were hateful. You don't get to be the one who decides what's normal and what's not, fortunately. You seriously think some of your behaviors and lifestyle you have shared here are mainstream normal? I think not. So maybe don't be so judgemental of others.

Thats a pretty big stretch to relate the two points. The schools aren't saying that drugs are safe. "They" is the media and potheads who want to see it legalized. How do you know what they are teaching and how they are teaching about gay sex in the schools anyway?

The suicide rate in gay teens is very high. IF there are schools teaching about it, I would guess its to build a tolerance so kids who know they are gay at that age, don't have to feel "abnormal" or like they are sick. Like much if society including you makes them feel. I don't have a problem with that. My kids know openly gay people in high school, and I don't have a problem with that either. I have a very close gay family member, and he is very much normal. I assure you. And his life would have been a lot easier had teens been taught tolerance when he was growing up. His childhood was torturous.

So take your crap about gay stuff and stuff it. I was talking about drugs, the topic of this thread. I'm really not interested on your opinions of gay people.

My opinion wasn't based on "gay people". It was based on what the government is letting teachers teach kids that I don't feel should be part of the public schooling curriculum.

You didn't specify anywhere in that initial post that you were specifically excluding schools or government. You want me to rely on psychic powers or a crystal ball instead?

You want to talk about safely? Nothing is health-safe about anal sex.

nothing is health safe about washing your ass with your hand either.

Look, you do a lot of weird things and have weird behaviors you share here, but most people overlook it, and don't judge you. Maybe you can do the same.

And my initial post was clear as to what I mean. The safety of a drug disributed by DRUG DEALERS! I can't help it you're slow.

How do you wash your ass without using your hands?

wipe... not wash... my error in wording. Either way, have you heard of a wash cloth? You KNOW what you do and it's not the norm. Among other things you've said here that aren't either. That's the point.

thats what upsets me about all this "legalize marijuana" crap, making our kids believe it's safe. If legalized, who will be regulating it? Making sure its a safe pure product? Like with cigarettes and alcohol? No one. They will still get it from drug dealers. Everyone our age thinks of marijuana like the pot they used when they were young. Sadly, a lot of what's being disturbed can't be trusted as that.

Same thing about sex education in public schools, they now teach about how the homosexuals have gay sex. Bull fucking shit! Ain't nothing natural and normal about a guy sticking his cock up into another guys ass! But the public schooling system wants to think otherwise.
Yeah... that's what makes teens gay.... you know you post some really dumb crap, but I think this could be the dumbest. Though I bet you'll top yourself.

Actually....

Sex education is instruction on issues relating to human sexuality, which includes:

  • human sexual anatomy,
  • sexual reproduction,
  • sexual intercourse,
  • reproductive health,
  • emotional relations,
  • reproductive rights and responsibilities,
  • abstinence,
  • birth control, and
  • other aspects of human sexual behavior

If it was just about procreation.. it would be called "procreation education"... savvy?

Maybe if you knew that, you wouldn't be waving the homophobia flag so hard...

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Alcohol is natural too...it's the natural byproduct of fermenting fruit. Animals get 'drunk' in nature all the time from it. Look it up: http://www.scientificamerican.com/artic ... -get-drunk
