If God wanted to give the Earth an enema, Jefferson County, Texas, would be a likely spot.

I saw this on the news this morning...They talked about a little boy who was slightly injured in the accident and, since they obviously weren't going to make it in time for Thanksgiving dinner and they had a turkey and rolls in the car, he made turkey sandwiches for the other stranded folks. Thought that was pretty cool. 8)

I have a friend who lives in the area where this happened. He says that this type of fog is not a common occurrence in that area, so most likely drivers had very little experience driving in that road condition. Anyone who has experience in that type of road condition would have slowed down to a crawl while traveling through the fog or better yet, would have done what I would have done and got off at the next exit (if there was an exit and wait it out). The morons who didn't have experience just kept on barrelling through the fog and eventually assholed the people who slowed down ahead of them, or they just crashed since they didn't slow down and then the other inexperienced drivers behind them went balls deep up into them.
