Supposed to be a great show tonight, if you're lucky enough to have clear skies and live out away from a lot of lights.

I live right in the middle of too many lights to see much, but I'm going to go out on the patio and crank my head back and see what I can see.

We almost never get rain here. We average 7" per year and currently we've only gotten half that. Tonight just happens to be one of those rare times we get rain and the skies of course are cloudy! Love watching sky related stuff. Sky writers, parachutists (there's a jump school very close to where I live so I see a lot of those). Meteor showers and any galactic stuff is always the best though. I live right on the south edge of the metropolis so the stars are usually fairly visible when looking to the south. Just, not tonight... :(

I watched it for about 20 minutes, and saw 7 or 8. It was a beautiful (but cold) night here last night, and we could see most of the stars in the sky. The meteors were beautiful, and I'm glad we got to see some. It just amazes me how fast those bastards must be traveling!

I saw a glimpse of one. It's too lit up around here I guess.
