Shocking lack of respect for Frampton in this forum.

I saw him open for Journey in 2001, if memory serves. He was this happy little English man on stage playing his heart out, cracking jokes. He had a perpetual smile for his short set. I also saw him in 1999 at the show that yielded the "Live In Detroit" album.

I didn't see anyone one bagging on the man.
I, for one, am a big fan of his guitar work, if
not necessarily his pop hits.

I'd love to be able to see him live, but I have

I've seen him live twice, once opening for Journey and the other time with Styx & REO Speedwagon. Not a big fan of some of his tunes but he is a great guitarist.

Saw him live in the 70's, he inspired me to learn how to play guitar...

Bought and wore out Frampton Comes Alive, have the remastered versions (awesome)

I have the blu ray and it's incredible to say the least. I REALLY wish he would have left his son out of "Dont need no doctor" tune, but otherwise this is a fantastic show. This is one performer who has stood the test of time better than...really...when you think about it...anyone.

Ok I'm relieved. My original post was up for days before anyone chimed in. Glad he has some fans here. The man is a virtuoso guitarist.

I love Frampton! Just saw him as a special music guest on the Voice a few nights ago. He still looks and sounds great.
