Just wanted to give a shout out to them for doing absolutely nothing to avoid tax increases. Totally awesome. I am ecstatic that my paycheck will decrease significantly on my next payroll because these people can't have a meaningful conversation anymore. Some will say it's the Republicans fault for holding the middle class hostage to save the rich. Some will say it's the Dems fault for allowing the middle class to suffer just to get a few bucks from people not paying their "fair share". Some will say the president is at fault for not leading.

I say yes to all and fuck them all for not doing the job we hired them to do.

The only thing in government that's not broken is the ability to print more money..........on chinese printing presses.

I work a full time job and side jobs to earn enough to care for my family and be charitable where I can. I pay my "fair share" and do not take one single extra deduction. I do not look for ways to find loopholes or extra tax credits. But any money the government takes from me ends up in a wasteland and I will have less to properly care for my family, my parents, and others. If the government ran efficient systems, I might be more willing to give up more of my hard earned money. I have worked 60 to 100 hour weeks for at least 20 years and have never once touched a government dime. As someone that cares for my nieces now, I have the ability to receive financial aid from the state, which I will not do as long as I have my own money.

So screw these bastards that play hard and fast with my money and the money of every hard working man and woman in this country. Sorry. I see the news and I look at all these idiots and I think man, no matter what these people are rich. No matter what, these people will be fine. Their kids will be fine. So go on your vacations, go have nice dinners and golf games on our dime, churn that big machine that spends trillions of dollars and make sure you take a few hundred extra bucks from me every check.

This is not meant to disparage any particular race or ethnicity, but damn, it sure pisses me off when illegitimate "foreigners" drink off our tax dollars like a siev, when there has been no prepayment of taxes for the benefits they receive. There are so many people just like you in America. Yet they voted for a President that seems hell bent on spending as much as he can and taking as much money out of the pockets of hard working people. If people think that Obama's plan is only to have "the rich" pay more, they are sadly fooling themselves. That will not be enough to cover his spending plan and he will eventually raise taxes on the rest of the tax payers. Sure you'll have people say "no he won't, blah blah this and blah blah that" but look at history. Remember Mr. George "Read my Lips" Bush, and he wasn't a Democrat. I think people are in for a very, very rude awaking over the next four years as to what Obama really means by "Remaking America".

Maybe you feel his policies and desires will lead this country to fail. That's one opinion that you are entitled to. But to compare him to someone that wanted to wipe out millions and millions of people - murder them - because of who they were - that's nowhere close to reality. Nor is it hardly possible in this country. Yes - our freedoms can be stripped daily as they have by both parties and that's something we ought to fight. Obama has certainly been Bush on steroids when it comes to lack of transparency, indefinite detention, etc. But Republicans don't have any interest in scaling it back either. But to think this president or any in my lifetime would send someone to a gas chamber because of their beliefs is pretty frickin nutty. Not to mention a US president doesn't have enough time to build that kind of following. Even if Obama was the evilest person on earth, he's only got four more years and I can't see one thing he's done that would end up in the death of groups of people, toward genocide. I never said that. But, in the end he will strip away our freedoms and turn our country more toward socialism. Sure he's not gonna gas our people, but this will, and has partially become a dictatorship. It's headed the wrong way and people are not willing to admit that and probably won't until they waken to a blunt truth in the very near future. We have a dysfuntional government, headed by Obama's leadership......oh, wait, there IS no leadership. The President (one of him) can't seem to get along with the Senate or the House. You got over 500 people in the house and senate and one guy, a supposed leader, who can't lead any of them. Seems like a pretty fragmented government to me. I suppose Obama is right and 550 others are wrong. No! This is the equivelent of having a general who tells his men to march, but instead, they all squat and take a shit. The only people who want this president are the ones who want something for free or a discount.

Hitler brought Germany out of the Weimar Depression, where unemployment was 30%, and made Germany an economic leader again....

He did this by largely repealing/ignoring the emasculating consequences of the Treaty of Versailles, which would have kept Germany in economic chains forever. Had Hitler never engaged in any war-mongering, history would likely look at Hitler as one of the greatest peacetime leaders of the 20th Century.

No US President has ever engineered such a dramatic peacetime economic recovery.

No I don't think it does. Others may think different. My point is that in the beginning Hitler seemed to have the best intentions for the German people. They had no idea just how evil he would become. He slowly stripped away the democratic rights of the country. He was obsessed with power. I believe that Obama is obsessed with power and we have no idea just how he wants to transform our country into one that is ruled and totally dependent on it's government. I believe that Obama's true vision of reshaping America is different then what people think it is. If he laid out what he actually has in mind no one would have voted him in office. Hitler blamed Germany's economic problems on the Jewish people, his scapegoat. Obama's scapegoat is the wealthy Americans, he is demonizing them as if they are holding back our ability to fix America's financial problems.

I'm sure if someone told the German people just what exactly Hitler had in mind at the beginning people would have said that's not possible. I never said that I think Obama is going to send people to a gas chamber or try to commit genocide. Hitler's attempt to wipe the Jewish people off the planet was not his only evil act. The error people make is that they don't think things in the country can radically change. This was the same mistake the Romans made.

I thought the Middle Class wasn't suppose to be paying more in taxes?

Both the Democrat and Republican proposals look to fuck me out of around $3,000 next year.

That payroll tax/FICA increase should cost me $2000 alone.

Obamacare in addition to the 3% increase in income tax will hurt most middle class up to $12K on average if they do not have health insurance. And that's if they are working less than 30 hours a week.

What was irresponsible was W cutting the taxes in the first place. There was absolutely no reason to do it. It was irresponsible in that it contributed to turning the budgets into deficit spending.

What a lame response. First, you must be blind that by doing something like this, Obama is rewarding the kind of people he thinks are not paying enough in taxes. Cutting taxes is not an irresponsible action. Not producing and adhering to a balanced budget is. Spending more then what you take in is irresponsible. Not raising taxes is not our government's problem. Out of control spending, bills fulled to the brim with pork spending is. And this is irregardless of what party is in power. Our government is too big as it is. Rising taxes on any income bracket is a futile act to try and get the government out of the red. They have consistently shown that the more money they bring in the more they spend. All these talks and debates about the "fiscal cliff" and no mention of how our government has not produced and passed an actual budget. That and the ridiculous approach that you should be able to work out a plan without even making sizable cuts in spending. All this does is "kick the can down the road" for our future generations to deal with. They are only delaying the inevitable.

Every family that hops over the border is worth about $20k per year in extra spending. Who pays their bills everytime one of their kids get snotty nose and has to go to the doctor? Who pays for the birth when a pregnant lady immigrates illegally? Where do they get the money to eat? And....yet, they get larger tax refunds than the average legitimate working person. Not good math and this is a bad president. I'm not going to just pull my blanket over my head, like most sheeple, and deny that this is a problem. It's a major expenditure and we should adopt a policy. In fact, we should eliminate these programs and send people packing. Let's see the tally of savings on that one!

Anyone who works and pays taxes in this country and finds that a portion of their taxes goes to support illegal aliens in any way should be fucking enraged! I am and if it continues I am going to stop paying taxes and build an armed fortress.

Save your money instead of building the fortress. The odds of you getting "picked up" for tax evasion is pretty low. You can tell that by the number of people who don't pay their federal taxes year in and year out and nothing has happened to them yet.
