+1 And even though the end result brings peace and lifts tons of bitterness, anger and sorrow off your shoulders, the path getting there tears at your very soul. Luckily, I've never been through it - and after 27 years with the same woman, I'm fairly confident I've found my soul mate - but I've witnessed bad break-ups of some of my closest friends and hope to God, if Laurie and I ever do end up splitting the sheets, our break-up isn't like some I've seen.

All the best Ripster!

Anyone else had a hard split from a psycho ex?

Congrats my friend!

I had one crazy ex-girlfriend, but the funny thing is once we stopped dating we became legit friends. She is someone else's problem now and I laugh when I see her playing the same games and pulling the same stunts she used to on me. Now it's just funny!

I hope Little Pea wasn't too traumatized while all this was going on.

Thanks Rip. I watched both of my parents divorce and remarry 3 times. My dad's 3rd didn't work out. Mom is still on round 3. It's painful for all involved, but sometimes people stay in bad relationships. Getting out, as painful as it may be, just gives you a better chance at seeking a better life and a better self.

I wish you the best, buddy! :D
