I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Watching this, all I could think of were those Swedish Engineers who were listening to the real feed of Augeri's vocals during the the Swedish Rock Festival and then, when they stepped outside the trailer, the could hear the "FIXED" vocals the band was piping out to the crowd.

They probably figured Journey has always done that. They've probably seen other well known rock singers do it and probably came away thinking that Journey has done the same thing even with Perry and even now with Pineda. In the entertainment industry, once you do something like that, the doubt will never go away no matter how hard you try to make it right.

Journey was very lucky that shit didn't get out. Not any more than it did, at least.

Rolling Stone had a blog about it but luckily, the Sopranos hadn't happened yet so the band were still very much off the radar at that time. If Journey ever gets brought up in the R&R HOF meetings, somebody from RS might mention it then but it's probably water under the bridge now though with the internet, nothing is EVER forgotten completely.
