I wasn't implying that anyone else in this thread was a like minded douchebag. I was inquiring if the poster made the comment because he "thought" he was safely in the company of such. He was mistaken.

To be clear, I was and am calling him out. To the exclusion of all other posts in the is thread, his posts, in my opinion, were the douchiest (I don't think that's a word, but it happens to fit).

You NEVER push the envelope, Rick. There are ways to do it and there's ways not to. Deano was the master of the stage in that department. Even when he went over the line, he knew how to reel everything back in and recover himself for the most part. Now, we get mostly shockjock type posts. No artistry, no appreciation of how to offend without really offending. It's just become garbage and really a setup for an eventual swansong for these particular forums. While MR the site will still be vibrant for the foreseeable future, the message boards really feel that they've seen their best days already. It's just the nature of the beast unfortunately.
