"Great albums that no one's heard of"

I was thinking more the demo's sent to record companies by aspiring musicians that end up shitcanned instead of listened to.

Jeremey Frederick (Hunsicker) - Every Little Thing

Great album, but most people I know, except for here don't know about it.

Tora Tora - Wild America

Great rock band from Tenn. They sound like a mix between Great White, Motley Crue and Tesla. (Man, I hadn't thought about these guys in years! They do some kick ass rockin' on this album. Brings back memories of weekends on the boat at Lake Havasu, cranking this album and having a great time!)
Title track from their 1992 release Wild America

This one has  (Teeth)
Certain parts of that song are very Beatles-esque circa Revolver. Interesting his new album is titled, "Majestic". Good stuff there, definitely.

Completely different sound than the Cronin-fronted version isn't it - especially 157 Riverside Ave.

Jeff Rubin Guitar God

This mid90s guitar rock/pop classic is a favorite and makes many of my long car trips. The title has nothing to do with the music as it is not a Yngwie or Satriani or anything close to a guitar wank fest. It just has good songs and performances. Nyack should have been a hit .

Couldn't disagree more. LOVE that album, especially "Heroes Die Young". Blows anything Tyketto did out of the water. For me at least.

put me squarely in the Tyketto camp. Lyrically, some of the Tyketto stuff (End of the Summer Days, for example) is well above and beyond anything on on the Waysted cd. Being a lyrics person, that may have something to do with the bias.

I can see that.

Think I like the Waysted album because it is closer to the UFO sound slightly.

Paul Chapman on guitar in both bands.

I much prefer PAul Chapmans other band Lonestar from the 70's one the most underrated bands ever.

Lovely Lubina - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6jyxUniwE0

Check out the Queen like vocal harmonies even though they sound nothing like Queen. The album was produced by Gary Lyons who was the sound engineer on Queens earlier albums. These guys are my desert island must have even if no one else gets it.

The Ballad Of Crafty Jack - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_roc1h9OCQ4

edit :

From All Of Us To All Of You - Live video from back in the day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UC2rn1w7eas

Awesome stuff criminally ignored imo. 8)

Not Rainbow but Deep Purple "Burn".

That makes more sense but its not quite the same riff, playing guitar since age 10 allows me to know the difference, close though.
