Very cool. I know people love to hate Bon Jovi but with everything from their FaceBook DVD video nights to their philanthropy projects in Philadelphia these guys usually make the right moves when it comes to their fans. I met these guys in a Bar in Roppongi along with members of Wasp and WhiteSnake back in the mid 80s. They were as laid back as fuck.
Yes, they've changed over the years, gotten more arrogant, cocky or what ever but underneath, I think they're hearts are in the right place and they're still the same old homeboys from Jersey. I think that is one of the reasons why they endure and can still sell out worldwide while their peers have fallen to the wayside. Its' not as if their last few records have been stellar (far from it). These guys just "get it" and their fans' loyalty attaches itself to that.
