When I first saw the title of the article, I was immediately skeptical of whatever and/or however you could possibly achieve this. Turns out, the article, which resides on c/net, explains that the striling engine which is at the heart of the charging device has been around in one form or another since the 1800's and the newest spin on this old tech gadget makes it possibly to use heat or cold to create enough energy to actually charge your phone or to just keep it charged while you're not using it. I have a sneaking suspicion some users here will never have a dead phone again!
