Help windows vista hell

I have a win32 error when I download anything...I was trying to update iTunes and that's when I found out. How do I get rid of it? I can't download anything...grrrrrr!

I was having similar errors back when I was running Vista and remember going there and finding something that worked.

BTW, I finally just upgraded to Win 7 and said hell with Vista. It's been way smoother sailing. I chose to to a clean install, wiping any traces of anything Vista off my drive.

We have Vista on another machine and it works fine, but all they do is check email and stuff like that, so it's not being used too much. As I posted before, and like Steve said, Windows 7 is the i ching of OS's, from Microsoft anyway. Very nice and stable OS.

As to your error, I would try going to Windows Update and make sure everything that's at least an "Important" update is installed. If you haven't done much of that, it may take hours, because I think they are up to like Service Pack 3 on that OS. But it's definitely worth doing.
