I actually heard he had been married a really long time, and good for him. I haven't really listened to REO since "High in Fidelity" (still one of the greatest albums, EVER). That said, the guy comes across as more gay than most gay men that I've met in my life. I guess it's a lesson in not stereotyping people. I'm surprised to hear anyone say they never thought he was gay. He just comes across as VERY feminine to me. Again, no big deal and I wouldn't think any less of the guy if he were gay. I just never knew much about his history of family, so just always assumed (apparently, wrongly)that he was gay, just from listening to him.

I get your assumption (is that even a word?). Even though he has writtten some "gay"
songs ala can't fight this feeling he has written some killer rock tunes like keep pushin, I do
wanna know, love is a rock etc. You should check out their last album find your own way home.
Best album from them in 20 years.

I never thought the dude was gay...I wouldn't say he's a well-known womanizer, either, but I've heard him tell stories about going to the Playboy mansion before.

Their live show from the Moondance Festival was on Palladia last night. They sounded great, but his incessant rambling was annoying as fuck.

This is why I refuse to see them again. I saw them years ago, and he spent more time bitching about Bush than he did singing. He's retarded, and it has cost him ticket sales.

REALLY wish music acts would shut the fuck up about politics on stage. You're paid to play MUSIC, and most of the time you're retarded in your opinions.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was just about ready to leave the arena during the Main Event tour. Cronin wouldn't shut the fuck up about taking his kids to the playboy mansion. Easily could have played at least 2 songs in the time it took to tell that lame story.

Same thing happened when they played the Houston Rodeo with Styx the year before. Keep in mind that Rodeo concerts are normally only an hour-1:15 tops. He took about 10 minutes out of REO's set with his incessant rambling. I yelled "FINISH THE FUCKING SONG, ASSHOLE" from rather decent seats in the Astrodome. LOL

By my count, it's two studio albums in the last 20 years:
1996 - Building the Bridge
2007 - Find Your Own Way Home - Wasn't this going to be called "Everyone Loves a Happy Ending" originally?
I know there were a bunch of compilation and live albums. Am I missing any studio albums?
I saw REO live last summer for the first time, between Ted Nugent and Styx. I thought they were great (especially the vocals, even with only three guys singing), but could have done without the incessant ramblings from KC. He's not as bad as Uncle Ted though.

Took my g/f to last year's show, and when that started...I knew what was coming, so I went to the bathroom and left her to listen. LMAO

Yes you forgot the 1990 album "The Earth, A Small Man, His Dog And A Chicken".
Yes the find your own way home album went through a million and one
title names and cover art until they settled on it. I love the band and i'm not
a fan of kc's rambling/professionalism on somethings but they are a great band
live and that's what it comes down to the music.
