This seems to be a much more functional board. I can't imagine what it took to move everything over.

Cool. You can turn off everyone else's signatures, photos, ect. Even their avatars. Makes for easy reading.

I hate when ten posters in a row quote one post that has a bunch of photos in it. After a trip to the control panel, all gone now. 8)

I'll keep the avatars turned on as they looks smaller now but I've killed everyone else's signatures and photos. Cuts down on a lot of scrolling. There's still an IMG link if I want to see a picture someone includes in their post.

Not sure I like the avatars being on the opposite side of the page. Otherwise, much nicer.

Ya know that feeling you get when the nitrus is just starting to kick in at the dentist's office and everything is all floaty-like? THAT'S what it was like when the site loaded in my browser. I knew I was in the right place but everything was all goofy and unfamiliar for a few seconds.
Really like the softer look and feel and from what I'm reading in everyone else's posts so far, I'm guessing there's lots of stuff to adjust and play with. Nice job Wombat!
Now, back to the nitrus...

I had a private board one time using an older version of this same board software...I think I remember it having the option to move those from one side to the other. Can you check to see if that's available on your end to allow it to show in the User Control Panel?

I like the avatars on the right because when I veiw on my smartphone all I see is the avatar. I always have to scroll over, every page, every move I make. Now I can see the content and if the name is important then I will scroll...

I still have LOTS of tweaking to do.
Haven't even started.

And this forum has a dedicated viewing platform for mobile phones, so stay tuned for that also.

I managed to find out that, depending on the theme you choose as the administrator, the avatar and other personal info can be shown on the left instead of the right.

I like that it doesn't mark your posts as "read" when you close the browser.
