Brother of 8-year-old California girl arrested in her stabbing death

I don't understand what this world is coming to. My only thought is maybe he had been sexually abusing her and she was threatening to tell. That poor girl. How scared she must of been in her final moments and most likely in the months before.

Can someone please tell me why kids keep getting meaner? T. The world to me has always been dark, but we didn't have 24 hour news and social media to blast out our tales of terror the way we do now.

I think it is a lack of god, parents telling their children the difference between right and wrong, lack of consequences, or is it because they are truly sick in the head? I don't know, I just know I am SOOO thankful I don't have children. i would NEVER, ever bring up children in this world. I feel truly sorry for the next generation. I also feel sorry for my generation as I think we will suffer the brunt of all the evil to come.

Some kids aren't being raised by parents anymore, but rather computers, video games and money to "go do something". My bet is that one will fall squarely on the parenting, or lack thereof. Where were they when this happened? Not home, as I understand it.

There is no good reason or excuse why these kids could be unsupervised to the extent that something like this was even a possibilty in a properly parented home....none!!! This is exactly why some people shouldn't be allowed to reproduce.

I don't know. When I was that age I was left at home in charge of my sister as my mom had to work. I think it depends on their maturity level. I would have to think though there were signs of something being amiss before this happened.
