I really hope she sticks with it - so many teenage girls get discouraged from pursuing rock music, especially harder styles, and those that do get into the industry get pushed into being nothing more than dress-up dollies and their musical talent gets ignored. Hopefully she has the strength of character as well as the talent to make it. Good luck to her!

Good point, reminds me of Orianthi, who back in the day would have been big. sometimes its just timing,
that kind of talent and style would have been much more appreciated in a different time. Hopefully as you said

There are thousands of kids who can play "Eruption" now. Use to be cool when you ran across one on you tube. Now, they are literally everywhere.

God, how I used to hate sitting at the piano doing these exact same kinds of finger exercises over and over and over... It sure pays off in the end but getting there has to be THE most boring thing to do short of watching paint dry! :shock:

I thought that exact thing at a couple different points in the video. She looks like she's just going through the motions of a tune she's played a bazillion times before and doesn't even have to look at her fingers most of the time. :roll:
