What was the last vinyl record you bought before you made the switch to CD's. My last one was coincidentally the first CD I bought. Journey: Raised on Radio.

You know, I never really got away from vinyl. I do remember for a while I did stop and went to cd's until my car got real fucking cluttered with them. Stopped buying cd's afterwards and stayed with the tried & true. I would have to say my first cd I bought was probably "Kiss Alive".

I THINK the last vinyl before cd for me was Huey Lewis - Small World. I had so many cassettes at the time, I'm not sure.

I switched from vinyl to cassette, even though I would regularly tape my records I just didn't have the space to lug the vinyl around.

Probably the last "new" record I purchased was probably in 1982.
The record store had 1 copy of the limited edition Japanese Dream After Dream Journey album.
If I remember right it had a pretty low # stamped on it. Paid 20 bucks for it and was a fortune to a kid.
Boy was I in shock when I heard it, except for Little Girl it sounded nothing like Journey.
Grew to love most of it, Except for Destiny.

Damn! Your post reminded me that my last album wasn't ROR, it was Dream After Dream! I'd never heard of it when I ran across it at a record store back in '88. I'd long since stopped buying anything on vinyl but still had my turntable. I'm curious... has it ever been released on CD?
