I HATE that the music out there today is tantamount to musical pornography. It just dirty's up kids minds. It's absolutely unnecessary.
I hate it too Rick. Not a fan at ALL, and I was pretty disgusted when the Army National Guard chose him as a spokesperson. I was like... WTF???
I do have to bust you out with one thing though... You use Richard Pryor as your avatar but are disturbed by Kid Rock's lyrics. Pryor formed entire SENTENCES without using clean words.

Which way do you want it???
Yeah!! AND.... in addition to what my colleague said, what's with your post above that reads:
"Whatever. I don't know what kind of fucking people would let their kids listen to that shit."
Can't have it both ways sir.

In all seriousness, Rick, I couldn't agree with you more. Not only is it vulgar, and unnecessarily so, it's degrading and very racist at times. And if that's not enough reason to despise it, they go the extra step and purposely mispronounce words or make them up. I'll overhear my daughters talking on the phone and say things like "I'ma be 'der in a lil bit".

It makes my skin boil when I hear my white, educated, fairly-well raised daughters going out of their way to sound like hoodrats. Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!
Back to what Jim said about Pryor... Yup, he and Redd Fox were as over-the-top vulgar as they get. They would spout of with stuff that would make a truck driver want to pull over and repent!
