Just two of the many reasons

Here is just two of the many reasons why my family and I and our circle of friends and family do not eat fast food.....yummie....

This reasoning should lead you to the conclusion that you should never eat out. Ever. I worked in kitchens at restaurants when I was younger and know what goes on. Most of it is not malicious stuff, just thoughtless and careless treatment of what people are going to eat.

One of the most common words uttered in a kitchen is "landed on a napkin" for when food is dropped.

While you're at it, don't eat food from stores either. My friend'ss hand got hit pretty good by the meat grinder and he had to go to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile someone took over the meat grinder. All of the ground beef was put out for sale. With human skin and blood as a bonus.

Anyway, the first picture was a joke as the shells were being thrown out and the second one does really bother me much. I don't eat at either of these places anyway.

Lol, nice story about the meat grinder. Lovely.

Reminds me of what a good friend of mine told me back while we were in the military. He's from Texas and used to work in slaughter houses there. There's a section in the plant that does the sausages and hotdogs. There are large 50 or so gallon drums that are filled with the stuff that can't be sold as is like skin, fat, tendons, gristle, guts, reproductive organs, etc. whatever have you. When those drums are filled, they are taken and the contents dumped into an industrial sized grinder for the sausage and hotdog preparation. Every so often he said you'd hear a very loud metalic grinding sound and the product coming out the other end of the grinder machine would have a dark tint to it. He said that was when they would "find" where the lost knife was. They'd just run that batch through a few extra times making sure everything is grinded down all the way. But the part that got me was when he said that a lot of the guys working in those areas would use those drums for their spit can while they are chewing tabacco while working. No worries though, the finished product has been dyed pink to give it the look that it has.

Glad I hated hotdogs and sausage as a young kid and don't ever eat the stuff throughout my entire life.

In regards to restaurant work, I've probably worked in a dozen places while I was in high school and shortly after, including McDonald's during my entire junior year in high school. And I never heard of anyone I worked with tampering with food or dropping it on the floor and then serving it to customers. The only thing we would do during the McDonalds gig was give out free food to hot chicks. Outside of that, there was nothing we did to anyone's food. If it dropped, we'd throw it in the loss can. Back in those days, they'd count the contents in the loss can and then toss it in the trash. The food that was fifteen or twenty minutes old would also get tossed.

This is pretty much common knowledge...
I only eat these products when they come from the Koegels Family in Flint Mi. Best Vienna hot dogs on this planet ... :wink:
