It's too bad that a talented group like the Rival Sons have had way more success in Europe than in their own country where they are practically unknown.

I'm attaching a live concert video. I hope you enjoy. These guys kick ass and have rekindled something that has been missing from rock for a long time. The energy, passion and excitment they bring to their music is a joy to behold!

Damn! These guys are great! Why have I never heard of them? If I had to describe their sound for someone I'd say they're a mix of Georgia Satellites, Led Zep, Aerosmith and Head East.  And from that description, I'd be very surprised if anyone could possibly put together a mind's-eye feel for what THAT mix sounds like but to me, that's what I hear.

great band..

IT was the same for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers... they found huge success in England before returning to the US, and had to slowly build their rep here...

Caught these guys first show in Chicago in 2010....when they played to 21 people. I'd say a third of that were family members of the second opening band.

Saw them again this past February, and they are way too good to be playing these tiny places all over the US. I imagine their fan base is going to multiply by the thousands each night while opening for Sammy Hagar in Aug.

WOW! Love'em. Kind of cross between a male Janis Joplin, Paul Rodgers and Jim Morrison. :D

I like 'em. That opening sounded like it came right off of Woodstock. It's encouraging to see a new generaton discovering and assimilating all that great classic rock and blues.
