Lorain Police say a homeless man was Life Flighted to the hospital after cutting off his penis.
Cops were called to the area of East 21st Street and Access Road Tuesday around noon after an unauthorized man was seen on CSX Railroad property.
Officers found the man with his hands and gym shorts covered in blood. He told officers that he had just cut his penis off. According to the police report, he said he tried to use an old rusty saw, but he used a broke bottle when the saw didn't work.
The man told police that "Busch (beer) made me do it."
The man's penis was found lying on the train tracks nearby.
Life Flight was called, and took the man to Metro for treatment. A mental evaluation request was also made with Life Flight.
Ya know, when I think back, way back to the days when I used to abuse my body with copious amounts of alcohol, chemicals, organic substances, etc., I remember a few times that were just plain scary and perhaps miraculous that I lived to see another day. And during even the worst of the worst bad trips due to psychological reasons and/or bad drugs, there was NEVER a time when self mutilation even entered the most skewed train of thought and especially not THAT kind of mutilation!
I mean, Jesus fucking Christ... what has to take place in your psyche that convinces you that removing your penis, by whatever means available, is the right course of action at that specific moment in time?! Now, try and follow along here for just a sec...
I can only speak for myself personally but I'm positive other guys will be able to appreciate the line of thinking here... If I were to decide that I was going to make it my goal to detach my penis in the least surgically safe and most painful way imaginable, my penis would make its best attempt at disappearing sorta like the cliche about "it was cold outside..." only in this case, I might even go inverted making grasping it a major challenge let alone getting a good enough grip to hold it steady whilst the other hand saws and hacks and chops..... Okay, enough already, but I think you get the gist. Holy shit! WTF kind of drugs are these guys doing these days?!?!
