Always was amused by hardcore thrash and evil lyrics. I always thought that a more melodic approach to that kind of thing would have more effect.

Found out about the band Ghost (or Ghost B.C.) recently on the Jim Florentine podcast.

Yeah, they're called Ghost B.C. here because of some copyright infringement but they still want to be called just Ghost and that's how they're referred to in Europe also. Papa Emeritus is the lead singer and they're actually pretty good musically but I just can't get into them due to the lyrics. The whole Satanic thing is sort of played out, in my opinion.

Ghost is the name of a long-running Japanese psychedelic rock band.

Either way, it's such an Unoriginal name for a newer band to use.

"I got a great name for our band! GHOST!"
