I know there are a few Alter Bridge fans on this board. I just listened to the new album "Fortress" and have to say it is pretty rockin'! These guys just get better and better.

I haven't heard the new album yet but they've gotten consistently better with each album I've heard.

This album is great. Lot of good stuff. Not sure if any of these songs will surpass my favorite Alter Bridge songs, but the album as a whole seems like their best yet.

"All ends well" is a gem....fantastic song

This band for me, is the only one I can think of that I don't have to listen to the music prior to deciding if I want to buy the cd(I just know I will want to hear anything new from them)It used to be so many bands were like this......That was a long time ago

I've listened to the album stream maybe a dozen times by now and I think it should get the band the recognition they deserve State side. The strange think about this album is I liked it on the first listen, but it has also started growing on me. I don't typically like albums I call growers on the first listen as much I did this one. It is definitely their heaviest album, but they have also stayed true the AB sound. There is not a bad song on the whole thing, and many great ones too.
