I've had high blood pressure readings since I was a kid due to "White Coat Hypertension". Beer can spike it, but overall doesn't change things as long as I avoid drinking for a few days. Never get a BP reading the day after drinking a lot. You will freak when you see the numbers.

Your BP is actually down while you are having a few. It's when you initially stop that the readings go up.

Avoiding drinking for a few days is not an option. My last BP reading was after a bender, that's why I'm on lisinopril.

Plus I had a Frosty.

Before any physical exam in the future. Schedule it on a Friday.

If said bender was on a Sunday after football. On Monday drink half as much as Sunday. Half as much the next day if at all. Should be out of your system by Wednesday.

Nothing on Thursday, then on your exam on Friday you will be amazed how many points you shave off your BP reading.

Not that I would know anything about that. :?
