How to Remove a Satellite Dish?

My fascist HOA is demanding after 5 years that I remove a preexisting SATELLITE dish. It essentially came with the house. I had called DISH upon move-in asking if they could remove it to which they gave me a resounding no. Being a new first time buyer it didn't occur to me to demand that the old owner remove it as part of the buyers contract.

Is this something that can easily be removed? I have heard that doing so will cause holes in the roof? I have thought about having the main component, but the bolts on so as not to damage the roof? Can that be done? Would a roofer remove it? Is there some law against removing something like that? Meanwhile if I don't I am sure FACIST HOA will start fining me.

Shouldn't be too hard to remove at all. Be careful with the base though, it would have been screwed in and if you don't fill those holes in with something like silicone, it might leak. I might think about leaving the base if it doesn't show. Good luck
