There are several here that dont like Glenn Beck. Thats fine. Thats your opinion. I do, and always have. Ive read, listened and watched him for many years. I think he is a sincere, honest, intelligent, patriotic God fearing man. I believe he is very knowledgeable about the world and history. He understands what was and is. He has been right many times when most have called him crazy. He backs his word up with facts, all you have to do is check.

Like him and others I dont see a good future for America. Or for the world in fact. There is just too much changing. To much changing for the worse. Too much bad. The America that was (or supposed to be) in History books is being re-written. The America My Parents and Grand parents & I is slowly going away.

I know that its not ALL Obama's fault. But a lot has happened since he has been president, so a Lot IS his fault. And watching this video the first time made me think. Who Isnt mad? And If they arent mad about whats happening, then WHY arent they mad? It is?WILL effect them too. Eventually, somewhere, somehow the world changing like it is WILL effect everyone. And it wont be for the better.

So Beck (and others) know it, see it coming. How to change it? Getting rid of Obama would help, but that wont stop it. So Beck has been saying be different, do go the way of the angry, dont let it take you over. And pass that on. Will that work? Will being good make it better. Probably not unless a majority changes. And honestly I dont see THAT happening. There are to many haters. Too much evil. Too much bad coming. It will be up to one individual at a time to feel this and change it. And pass it on. But it better be soon. Maybe not in my life but surely in my son's and my Grand kids bad will get worse it change isnt made.

Does anyone else see it? I know and expect some to call me nuts, again I dont care. Those are the ones that do support change. They wont and dont want to believe. Fine. I believe in God too. So I guess thats another strike against me for some here. Anyone?

How old are you? That is a serious question. There is a sharp turn lately, much more than hippies turning into yuppies. There is an undertow going on and it's not so much about action, but the lack of it. I stand by my assertion that this generation couldn't give a shit what is going on around them, so long as they get what they want. They don't care about the constitution or about having any integrity in government. The next presidential candidate that runs on giving them more free shit wins again.

Workforce participation at 30 year lows, twice as many unemployed (if we count the 12 Million no longer counted) as in 2008... but the U-3 is 6.5%... real unemployment is north of 15%...

My point is the hippie generation was the ultimate in counter-culture experimentation and tuning out of what their elders considered "normal". And, what did we get out of that generation? For decades now, Republicans have been NARROWING their audience and have less broad support. I see a tough road for Republicans winning any national election for at least a couple more cycles. Currently, at the pace the economy is unwinding, because nothing is actually working fundamentally.. only nominally.. and the FED is pretty much outta options.. raising rates will crush bonds and stall the economy even further below its 1% growth.. so we aren't gonna continue this road very long before the piper has to be paid.. 47% on food stamps.. highest ever... people are already "feeling it"..

... and that's when that perception changes, because enough people will suddenly realize they don' have enough money to cover their bills.. much less chase the "American Dream"... and then the facts and figures will matter... in hindsight..

but they are always reality...

What Reagan built, Karl Rove tore down by focusing too much on the negative, and hardly offering anything positive. Now they have the additional problem of the party being split cuz of the Tea party. So, the party is forced even further from the center...and has even less appeal to the non-right wing political radicals.

But, of course it's all the youngest generations responsibility and fault. Yeah, right...when congress can't even function, it's not simply a problem of generation culture...it's a problem of the old farts not being able to function and blaming others for the problems THEY CAUSED...problems they do not even want to put for the effort to propose a solution for.

Unless the US can magically foster 6% GDP growth for 20 consecutive years, then there is no magic to wipe away the debt that has been put on the books in the last 8. This will eventually affect the perceived (there's that word again) veracity of the USD in the FX markets.. and that will put pressure on bond yields affecting the US long term ability to not only sell debt (bonds) but service the interest on said debt.

Japan is a prime example of this... Abenomics is imploding as I type this..

The current move to undermine the USD as the petrodoller/reserve currency, and replace it with that SDR's will further erode the USD's hegemonic position, which secures the FEDs ability to lever USD to other countries via currency swaps. This would NEVER happen if the US economy were roaring at 4% GDP growth... because we'd again be buying from China like mad.. and they'd have no incentive to change settlement currency... but once gone.. that will never return, and the US will not be able to finance even the current 1% economy we are in. There is a reason China is the #1 producer of gold, yet has not sold on ounce, and has been the #1 BUYER of gold for the last 5 years... they see the writing on the wall.

Personally I DONT think the only thing that matters Is the economy. I do know its a big thing though. The government is making money they shouldnt and hurting us. The government is spending money they shouldnt and hurting us. We all know they dont or wont listen to the people their hurting and they will keep on doing what they are doing. Hurting America. The politicians WILL do whatever they have to do to get votes and stay in office. I didnt say Repubs or Demos, I said politicians. They WILL do whatever it takes, thats a fact we see, read and hear about everyday. Ive always been and always will be in favor of a one time 4 year term limit for ALL politicians. IF they want to get back in let them wait four years and try again. ALL positions!! That would be the fair way.

Ive read a lot about him. Ive seen many people talk about him. And many of these things Ive read, seen or heard are from people that before meeting him didnt care for Glenn Beck. They are people that would Never agree with or want anything to do with him. But when they do they say he isnt who they thought he was. How can you really know someone unless you do "follow" them on a regular basis? Or how can you actually know someone if you only listen to or "hear" one side? Im almost 100% positive Glenn Beck is not the same person he used to be. He was a Alcoholic and a drug addict. He was a bad person and knows and admits it. He is no longer that person. Ive seen him give reference to many sources when telling a story. He does it in his books to. Ive seen his books in many stores and book stores. I dont know if they are best sellers though.

I really dont know much about Ron Paul. Only what ive read and seen (like you on Beck) Ive read and seen he was friends with right wing extremists. He is anti-Semitic. He wrote several news letters and reports sympathetic for the right-wing militia movement, and deeply held bigotry against blacks, Jews and gays. But like I said I dont really know or follow him. So it could all be untrue.

What does the Mormon church have to do with food shortage? I know like many others a lot of them are preppers. I dont see anything wrong with wanting to stock up for an emergency. And apocalyptic death fantasies? Many people in many other religions believe in a second coming. And I think because of the way the world is today they just fear it will be sooner than later.

Anyway like Ive always believed everyone has their own opinions. Ive posted mine several times here on the website and so does everyone else. You believe one way I believe another.
