This is how I learned of Johnny (and Edgar)Winter.

Loved this album. Along with Allman Bros "Live At The Fillmore East".

Not only was Johnny Winter a great bluesman, but he pretty much singlehandedly revived Muddy Waters career by producing some of Muddy's best work on three Grammy Award-winning albums, Hard Again (1977), I'm Ready (1978), and Muddy "Mississippi" Waters – Live (1979). All he cared about was playing the blues. There will never be anyone like him again.

Only saw him play live once, but it was possibly the best concert of my life.
Memphis in May, Beale Street Music Festival, 1990
Albert King, Etta James, Ernie Isley, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan
