Hey everyone, as many of you know... I've been involved (as a guest artist) on a few cd's over the years. Several years ago I recorded a song for Michael Riesenbeck and had all but forgotten about it. He has finally finished the album along with MANY well known melodic rock musicians and singers. He's trying to raise money through Kickstarter to make the physical cd's. The album is finished, but in order for it to make it to physical cd form, he (as well as all of us on the cd) need your help!!

He posted about it through social media and has made a little progress, but still has quite a ways to go to meet his goal. ANYONE here interested in supporting Michael as well as all of the other artists, PLEASE help us get this cd made!! Here is the info he posted on FB. I figured I'd post it here to help him. This is a dying breed of music and if you don't want to see it go away, we need help. Here it is:

Wow... crickets... COME ON PEOPLE!!! Here's a link to the song I played on. I hope you like it and I really hope you can drum up a few bucks to help out. There were a ton of us involved in the project, and I'd love for the physical cd's to be made. Many here complain about the lack of modern melodic rock and that the genre is dying. It IS dying, but helping musicians like Michael does help in a big way. It will help encourage others to try their attempt at making music in this vein. If there's no money in it for the artists, they'll go to country or another genre that you don't care about OR they just won't ever attempt to record music at all.

If you can help, PLEASE do. If you can't or just aren't interested, I understand. Money is tight right now and the economy is tight. I donated and I PLAYED on the album. And don't take that the wrong way... I'm not trying to brag about it. I think the only way to keep this music going is by supporting artists that try their take on our favorite style of music. Every dollar helps. Even if it's only a $5.00 contribution. You'd spend that on shitty Starbucks coffee!

The style of the album can be described as a blend of melodic rock, hardrock, progressive rock, symphonic rock, bluesrock, metal and AOR. It has become a very
diverse album because of all these influences, but overal this is Melodic Rock.

The album features 12 songs with catchy hooks, multi-layered vocals, guitars and keyboards, memorable choruses, played and sung by some of the best musicians around,
with a top notch mix and sound quality.

The Kickstarter reached a milestone, with crossing the 50% barrier. But with 48% left of the goal and only 15 days to reach it, I can use all help. Still 40% left and 12 days on the Kickstarter BTW. It's not looking good

I guess I shit in their Cornflakes! Lol!! I don't know man.

Ok, an update: we have 33% left of the goal and only 11 days to reach it. This translates in roughly 28 pledgers of the CD on the Kickstarter.

If there was ever a time to support melodic rock/AOR projects, it is now. I've added a few additional rewards on the Kickstarter, BTW.

Ok guys, the Kickstarter is at 9% remaining with only 6 days left. Please, please, please support the music!
