I never heard of the one at #1. I'll check that out later on. But I do have 3 on the list. AC/DC should be #1. The album is Killer. "Rock The Blues Away" is a killer tune. This one is better than "Black Ice" by a mile.

Uriah Heep's. It was and still is getting rotation on my turntable. The dude, for his age, can still belt it out and this album has a lot of nice catchy hooks.

Billy Idol. On a scale of 10, this one's a 7. He has, like most of his albums except "Rebel Yell" which is all killer, no filler, put out a album with 1 great song, 2 very good ones, 3 decent ones and the rest filler. What I expected.

The rest on there, like Priest, Accept, never could get into that "Heavier vibe" of music. Plus their concert crowds are like all sweaty ass dudes that look like they haven't showered for 5 days. Fuck that I want eye candy at concerts.

I will check out Big Wreck "Ghost" sometime though, see what the fuss is about.

I hadn't heard of Big Wreck either. I was puzzled how a rock album makes it to number one of some chart and I don't even know the band's name. So I sampled, liked, got it, liked a lot. Been listening all night. Checked with a couple friends and one of them had listened to them way back.

Their cover of War Baby is brilliant. Best cover I've heard since John Waite doing Fly.

Anyway, I need to explore this band more. Great vocalist, killer guitarist. Solid writing and actually fucking melodies. There's a shocker in today's music.

Thanks for the link.

Thanks for reading everyone.

It's a melded list from the various voting members of the board. I only have 3 of the albums from the list on my personal Top 10 list with only 1 other disc I want to get. But that is what makes the musical world spin around, varying opinions.

Circling back to say thanks again for the tip on Big Wreck. Such good stuff. I listen all the time. I actually like Ian Thornely's recent solo album a lot. It's quite a departure, but it's very good.

Ian's a Canuck. Gawd I remember buying that first Big Wreck album back in the late 90s. Just loved that song below, and The Oaf.
