He passed away today at the age of 83 in Bel Air. He had been suffering the effects of COPD for some time and was outspoken on the dangers of cigarette smoking.

RIP, Spock. LLAP.

Ive been a Star Trek fan for over 40 years. Nimoy will be missed by millions of fans. A real SciFi icon. R.I.P. Spock. :(

Here is the origin of the famous "Live Long & Prosper" hand gesture. :) Something I did not know.

This hit me today with the impact of losing a family member. Not a good way to start the day.

I was fortunate to meet Mr. Nimoy at a political reception on my college campus. He was campaigning for George McGovern who was running for president in 1972. He was very nice and made it a point to talk to all the students who attended. I was and still am a Star Trek fan. I'm sad that he has left us. :(
