It's been all over the prog boards. Fucking sad. This guy, along with Geddy Lee, is one of the reasons I love bass the way I do. Squire was one of the guys 45 years ago who demonstrated the bass guitar is not merely a tool for accompaniment. He influenced untold scores of aspiring bassists. He was a great vocalist, too. His first solo album Fish Out of Water is as good as anything Yes released in their prime. RIP.

It's just a shame the band bounced Jon Anderson the way they did. Now with Squire gone, if they continue to tour, they are officially a cover band. Squire and Anderson ARE/WERE Yes. :cry:
