Steve Jones's radio show.

Cool show with various interviews (Paul Stanley, Jack Black, RHCP, etc) and throwback and not oft heard tracks.

Been listening to this for the past year. Here in the LA area its on the classic rock station KLOS 95.5

Really diggin' finding something bearable on the ol terrestrial radio. :)

Here's the Jack Black cut, pretty funny.

I only just discovered this.
I'm in the UK, so have watched the clips on You Tube. Never knew he had a show.

Even though Steve Jones was in the Pistols, he used to listen to Melodic Rock.
Check out the Youtube clips where he talks to the guy from Eels.
They discuss Steve Perry.
I messaged the Jonesy's jukebox Facebook account and asked if he'd consider inviting Perry on now he's making new music and doing lots of interviews.
I got a 'thumbs up' back.
So I assume that's a 'yes!'

.
Thanks SusieP for arranging this one. The funniest by far.

Loved the facial expressions he did of his grandfather. I think he once said in an interview that he would love to play the part of a villain.

Steve Perry - The Godfather!

Jonesy is an interesting character.
And I find it hilarious that while he was in the Sex Pistols he was secretly listening to Journey and Boston and unable to admit it because he was supposed to be a Punk.

Do check out his interview on youtube with they guy from Eels.

In fact, there's loads of fun interviews from that radio show on youtube.

Perry's in studio interview is on youtube, that's probably what you linked above. Interesting account from Jonesy listening to DSB on cassette walkman when he was feeling low and it becoming a memorable moment for him.

Glad you're enjoying it.

Another funny segment is when he interviewed Juliette Lewis. They were listing all the English phrases describing parts of the body or something along those lines.

Don't think its on youtube but when I get a chance I'll check. Gotta run before I get a parking ticket. Damned street sweepers.
